How to play MultimineMultimine is based on very similar rules to the original minesweeper. You click on squares, to either reveal what is underneath, or to flag them because you believe a mine exists underneath it. The differences are that it's multiplayer! Another difference is that if you see other players flagging squares that in your opinion do not have mines underneath them, you have the opportunity to significantly reduce their score by revealing what was there! If there wasn't a mine there then they lose a bunch of points! Yet another difference would be that you don't die when you click on a mine. You just lose a bunch of points. The scoring system in multimine is slightly different to the original too. In order to encourage people to click on squares, every reveal of a square is worth something. Even if you never flag a mine, because everyone always beats you too it, you can still get points. |
